The transitional housing placement program,
or THPP, provides structured, supportive independent living
for qualified youth aged 16-19. The goal of the program is
to provide a safe environment so that participants may practice
the skills necessary to be successfully independent. Participants
live independently in apartments with regular assistance provided
by a support team. As youth demonstrate increased capacity
and skill level, support services gradually decrease, creating
a gradual transition to independent living.
