Bay Area Youth Centers (BAYC), founded in 1974, is a Hayward based non-profit agency that serves adolescents in out of home care. BAYC has long-term residential programs that emphasize youth development, educational achievement, self sufficiency training, permanent relationships with adults, self awareness, and health, within a therapeutic milieu environment. BAYC has a flexible program model that enables youth to receive numerous individualized treatment options while remaining in the community.

Agency Mission: BAYC’S central purpose is to prepare youth for a successful, healthy adult life, through a youth development approach.
